Privacy Policy

The C4E App provides access to stream videos, podcasts, obtain information about events, read essays and other online resources. It does not collect information about you but does interact with your device as necessary to provide the services.

Data Collected

Device data collected includes general device data (model, operating system) and crash information for diagnostics, internet protocol address for internet connectivity, aggregated page views for analytics and device notification identifier to send notifications.

Notification Services

By default, notifications are disabled. If you choose to enable them, you will receive general notifications from the Centre for Ethics. Additionally, you will have the ability to select specific notifications of events/recent publications through the application’s settings section. To opt out of notifications entirely, return to the notification section of your device’s settings app and turn them off.

Third-Party Links and Applications

The C4E App contains links to other third-party sites and applications. We do not control these third-party sites and applications, and therefore they are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the anything pertaining to third-party sites or services, and recommend you review their individual Privacy Policies.
