In addition to serving as an interdisciplinary hub for research in and on ethics, the Centre for Ethics also pursues institutional projects that advance its mission of research, teaching, and public engagement.

Participedia
The Centre for Ethics is a founding partner organization in Participedia, an participediaambitious international and interdisciplinary research project on the future of participatory democracy. In the In response to the rise of global interest in new forms of participatory politics, Participedia leads collaborative projects to assist governments, non-governmental organizations, and corporations in experimenting ways to increase public participation for collective decisions. Concurrently, the organization has developed an accessible database for international researchers, practitioners, educators and students to catalogue and compare the performance of participatory political processes. Participedia encourages users to contribute information to existing archives of case, method, and organization narrative descriptions, ultimately providing evidence-based answers to the questions of what kind of participatory processes work best, for what purposes, and under what conditions.
