Located in the Gerald Larkin Building at 15 Devonshire Place, the Centre for Ethics offers an elegant and adaptable venue for events and receptions. The Seminar Room, designed for high-level meetings and events, provides direct access to the adjoining Lounge Area, creating a seamless blend of formal and informal settings.
The space features modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, audio-visual equipment, and comfortable seating. The Lounge Area serves as a versatile reception space, ideal for food service and additional seating for larger groups. Together, the Seminar Room and Lounge provide a cohesive and functional environment to host seminars, meetings, and associated catering needs in one convenient location.

The Seminar Room offers flexible layouts to suit your event’s needs. Sliding doors can divide the spaces for added privacy or open them up into a larger, cohesive event space.
Capacity:
Accommodates up to 40 attendees in the Seminar Room and an additional 20 in the Lounge Area.
Technology and Amenities:
Equipped with audio-visual technology, including projectors, microphones, and high-speed Wi-Fi. We provide support for hybrid events, Zoom webinars, and custom tech setups, with on-site technical assistance available.
Lounge Area:
The adjoining Lounge is perfect for receptions, food service, or additional seating, ensuring all components of your event are seamlessly integrated.
Availability:
The Seminar Room is available year-round for rentals, including daytime, evening, and weekend bookings.
Rental Details and Rates
Rentals are for UofT departments only. Non-UofT events are subject to inquiry for pricing.
Seminar Room only: $500 (half-day) / $1000 (full day)
Seminar Room + Lounge: $750 (half-day) / $1500 (full day)
