On November 25, 2016, the Centre for Ethics hosted an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion of issues of law, ethics, and policy raised by “Project Marie,” a two-month operation by the Toronto Police in Marie Curtis Park in Etobicoke. The operation resulted in 89 charges against 72 individuals, primarily for indecent exposure and engaging in sexual activity, 95 per cent of whom are men. [CBC News]
