Inder Marwah

Graduate Associate, 2008- | Department of Political Science

PhD Candidate, Department of Political Science, University of Toronto.

Inder Marwah’s dissertation examines problems of political exclusion and moral misrecognition in the history of liberal political thought. His work explores the construction of moral and political agency in the works of canonical Enlightenment and post-Enlightenment thinkers as a means of reflecting on the capacities and dispositions required of modern, liberal subjects, and conversely, on the construction of various forms of “deficient” agency. His broader academic interests include Kantian philosophy, colonialism and empire, and immigration.

Inder received his Masters in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from Trent University.
